The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching, with soccer fans from around the country (and world) traveling to catch the dozens of games taking place across the U.S. and North America. Given that it’s (possibly) the final World Cup for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, there will be extra attention on what’s already the world’s most-watched sporting event and the biggest World Cup ever.

Of the three host countries, Canada and Mexico have a total of five venues, while the U.S. has 11, including Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, New York/New Jersey, and Atlanta.

In addition to actually getting to the games, fans traveling to the World Cup will have to consider where to stay. With hotels and accommodations quickly filling up, now’s the time to jump on lodging. Not sure where to stay? Hilton has some of the best properties near the games, with amenities for making the most of your stay, whether or not your favorite team wins.

It’s also worth signing up for Hilton Honors, the hotel chain’s free rewards program — members get perks like discounted rates, points toward free nights, free WiFi, and convenient features like digital check-in and a digital key. Hilton is also running a summer sale, getting members up to 20% off stays if you book by June 1 and stay by January 2027.

Here are some of the best places to stay for fans looking to attend the games.

Hilton Miami Downtown

The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens will host a total of seven matches during the World Cup. One option to see the sights of Miami and catch a game is the Hilton Miami Downtown, located directly on the Biscayne Bay and adjacent to Miami Beach. The hotel also includes amenities like an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and dining, including the 1601 Lounge, Brisa Bistro, and poolside cocktails. While the hotel is about 14 miles from the stadium, the proximity to Miami Beach is hard to beat. Book Here

The Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District, Tapestry by Hilton

Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, known for the World Cup as Los Angeles Stadium, will host a total of eight matches during the tournament, including the anticipated opener of the U.S. against Paraguay. The Anthem, adjacent to the Intuit Dome, is less than a mile from the stadium, making it a great option for visiting fans. In addition to its proximity to the stadium, the hotel features a rooftop bar and restaurant, a resort-style outdoor pool, and a hot tub. The hotel also offers pet-friendly and connecting rooms if you’re bringing the whole family. Book Here

Hilton Atlanta

Atlanta will host a total of eight games during the World Cup, including Spain’s opener and one of the semifinal games. The Hilton Atlanta, in the heart of downtown, is a little over a mile away from the stadium. When you’re not at the games, the hotel has plenty of amenities, particularly for sports fans. There’s a fitness center, a basketball court, two pickleball courts, and a jogging track. The hotel also features immersive Atlanta Soccer Suites with match-inspired experiences, and its restaurants and bars include Trader Vic’s, serving classic tropical cocktails. Book Here

Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing

Philadelphia will host a total of six games during the World Cup, including Brazil’s opening match and a Round of 16 game. The game will take place at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles, which will be known as Philadelphia Stadium for the World Cup. The Hilton Philadelphia, which is less than four miles from the stadium, is one option. It’s situated on the Delaware River and features an indoor pool, waterfront dining, room service, a 24-hour fitness center, and connecting rooms. Situated in Philadelphia’s historic core, the hotel is less than a mile from the Liberty Bell and the Museum of the American Revolution. Book Here

C. Baldwin, Curio Collection by Hilton

Houston is hosting a total of seven games during the World Cup, including two knockout phase games. The C. Baldwin, Curio Collection hotel is located less than ten miles from the stadium, which is connected by light rail. Amenities at the hotel include Rosalie Italian Restaurant, which serves bold Italian dishes and freshly made pasta. Good 2 Go is ideal for a quick coffee and grab-and-go items, while the Lobby Bar offers a relaxed menu. There’s also a 24-hour fitness center and a free downtown shuttle for seeing the city. For soccer fans traveling with the family, the hotel is pet-friendly and features connecting rooms. Book Here
