Daisy Chain Fields' lineup rules with Garbage, Mitski, Katseye and special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks

Olivia Rodrigo has announced a new music festival featuring an all-women lineup, and we are so here for it. Daisy Chain Fields, which will be held at Great Park in Irvine, California on Aug. 29, features a stacked lineup that includes Bikini Kill, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Garbage, and more.

Rodrigo shared the news on Monday via Instagram. “Truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true!!,” She wrote. “Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.”

She added: “The lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!”

The festival also features Die Spitz, Eli, KATSEYE, Mitski, Not for Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, and the Breeders, alongside curator Rodrigo, who will be performing across two stages. Special guests include Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks. The presale for festival tickets begins on Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. PT. The event will benefit a number of a number of women- and girls-focused non-profit organizations, including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeForm, Jhpiego, John Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood.

The festival news comes on the heels of Rodrigo releasing her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which arrived on June 12. “This could well be the giddiest we’ve ever heard Rodrigo,” Rolling Stone wrote in a review of the album. “Rodrigo has always proudly displayed her references, drawing from Nineties rock and riot grrrl bands like Hole and Babes in Toyland on past collections, but here, she’s doing more than paying homage; she’s woven a sonic tapestry that any of her icons can fit into. Fans craving more aggressive, pop-punk energy might have trouble getting into the new sound at first, but Smith’s appearance is a testament to just how well it works.”

The album debuted at Number One, scoring the musician her third album at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart.  The album’s flagship single, “Drop Dead,” went to Number One on the Billboard Hot 100, as did its follow-up, “The Cure.” In September, Rodrigo will head out on the Unraveled Tour in support of You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
