Walmart Deals Week is here, offering great deals for everyone, but Walmart+ members can save even more

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Walmart+ has always been a good deal, offering savings on groceries, gas, and other necessities, but right now it’s a great deal: Walmart is currently running its 2026 Walmart Deals Week sales event (offering an alternative to Amazon Prime Day) and while there are discounts to be had for everyone, the best offers are reserved for Walmart+ members.

If you’re not signed up for Walmart+, check it out here to unlock free shipping and even more savings during Walmart Deals Week. Walmart+ costs $12.95 a month or $98 a year if you pay annually but the retailer is offering a 50% discount right now that brings the annual cost down to just $49/year..

What Do You Get With Walmart+? Member Benefits & Perks

Unfamiliar with Walmart+? It’s basically Walmart’s version of Amazon’s Prime membership, and saves you money on everyday essentials from groceries to gas to streaming services. You get free grocery delivery from Walmart on orders of at least $35 (a low minimum for most shoppers), as well as free two-day shipping from Walmart’s website.

Walmart+ also comes with a free subscription to Paramount+, which normally costs at least $9 a month. The streaming service has a huge library of on-demand content from hit shows like 1883 to movies like Top Gun: Maverick, as well as live TV programming for sports like Champions League soccer, NFL games, and PGA tour golf tournaments.

Or you could choose to use your Walmart+ streaming perk to get a free subscription to Peacock, home to live sports, the Bravo reality TV universe, hit series like Love Island, The Traitors, The Office and more. Peacock normally costs $10.99/month for its Peacock Premium tier, but Walmart+ members get access for free — no strings attached.

Another money-saving perk with Walmart+ is discounts on gas. At participating Exxon, Mobil, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Murphy stations, you can save up to 10¢ per gallon. During select times of the year, members can save as much as 50¢ off every gallon of fuel at participating Exxon and Mobil stations nationwide. That adds up to some significant savings, especially if you’re fueling cars for the whole family. Plus, when it comes time for big sale events like Black Friday, Walmart+ members often get access before everyone else.

Other current Walmart+ member perks include discounts at Burger King, Walmart Auto Centers and travel discounts (and up to 10% Walmart Cash back) when booking with Walmart+ Travel, in conjunction with Expedia. Walmart+ members also get free pharmacy delivery and free returns from home — no in-person store visit necessary.

If you’ve been thinking of getting a Walmart+ subscription — or you’re just looking for a smart way to save some money — sign up for a membership here. Get an entire year of access to Walmart+ and all of its perks for just $49 right now — a 50% discount.

Does Walmart+ Have a Free Trial?

Don’t want to commit? You can also test out a Walmart+ membership for 30 days for just $1 right now. While Walmart+ used to offer a 30-day free trial, the retailer has currently swapped the free trial offer for the $1 deal. See more details here.

When Is Walmart Deals Week 2026?

Walmart Deals Week started on Monday, June 22, and runs through Sunday, June 28. Be sure to sign up for Walmart+ before the end of the event to get the cheapest deals and maximize your perks and benefits.
