Earth. We all live here — and if you don’t, what’s it like up there in space? — which means we share a responsibility to take care of it. If doing your part to protect this vast, beautiful planet feels overwhelming, a simple place to start is by being more mindful about what you buy and consume. And there’s no better time to rethink your habits than on Earth Day, celebrated every April 22.

Established in 1970, Earth Day has long been a reminder to take action, whether by reducing your ecological footprint or giving back in meaningful ways. To make it easier, we’ve curated a selection of thoughtfully made products that are sustainably sourced, responsibly produced, or crafted from low-impact materials, all choices that are kinder to the environment.

At a Glance: The Best Eco-Friendly Gifts to Buy

Even better, these eco-friendly finds make great gifts for just about anyone, from fashion lovers and home décor enthusiasts to tech fans and frequent travelers. Each one is something you can feel good about giving and using, a win-win.

The Best Eco-Friendly Gifts 2026

So why choose a greener gift today? Because small choices add up. Thoughtful, sustainable products can help reduce pollution and often last longer than fast-fashion alternatives, making them better for both the planet and the people using them. Explore our favorite eco-friendly gifts below.

Bruvi® BV-01 Brewer

Bruvi’s brewer is a both practical and sustainable single-serve coffee machine, for your giftee who needs their daily java fix but could do with less plastic waste.

Their bio-enzyme infused coffee pods (called “B-Pods”) are designed to break down in a landfill much faster than regular plastic and leave no microplastics behind. It also brews a damn good cup of coffee (partnering with popular craft roasters like Joe Coffee and Equator, and even a matcha brand), using a unique brewing technique that produces seven different beverages with no flavor cross-contamination and exceptional precision.

House of Marley Roots Bluetooth Speaker

Inspired by the late Bob Marley’s commitment to love and the planet, House of Marley’s “Roots” Bluetooth speaker is the audio brand’s best product for showcasing its prowess in sound and sustainability. The portable speaker features 10 total hours of playtime with a lightweight, waterproof design. What we like: the speaker is crafted from sustainable bamboo, recycled plastics, and Regrind silicone.

Not to mention, the Roots speaker can kick any party up a notch with a 15-minute quick charge and a convenient built-in bottle opener in the back, always ensuring you’re ready for a good time.

Nimble Champ Portable Charger

This eco-friendly portable charger is made from recycled plastic bottles and delivers up to 20W of charging power for all your USB-C devices on the go. Compatible with iPhones, Androids, and even AirPods, the Champ charger powers up your devices faster than a regular plug-in charger, even though it’s smaller than a deck of cards. Paired with a durable lanyard loop for attaching to a backpack or handbag, fast charging is always within reach.

Bonus: this set includes a prepaid recycled-plastic pouch so you can send your old electronics directly to Nimble’s e-waste recycling partner.

LARQ Bottle PureVis 2

LARQ calls itself the world’s “first self-cleaning water bottle” and portable water purification device. Initially launched through a Kickstarter campaign that broke the record for the largest-ever crowd-funded hydration campaign, LARQ’s latest water bottle, the PureVis 2, uses patented UV-C LED technology to kill up to 99 percent of bacteria, including E. coli and Salmonella, from your water — and in your water bottle.

The best part: smart sensors in the bottle automatically track each sip you take, so you can get insights into your hydration habits in the companion app.

The minimalist bottle is double-walled to keep drinks chilled for up to 24 hours and made from a safe, non-toxic, BPA- and plastic-free material. LARQ also says a portion of the proceeds from every water bottle sold will go to 1% for the Planet to help bring safe drinking water to people around the world.

Tommy Hilfiger Modern Fit Linen Suit Jacket

A linen suit never goes out of style, and it can also keep sustainability in mind — this Tommy Hilfiger pick proves it. Yes, even legacy brands in the fashion world have been making meaningful strides in recent years, and TH’s Waste Nothing initiative has diverted 110,792 pounds of textiles from landfills since 2020.

Linen is considered a more sustainable fabric in general due to its low environmental impact and biodegradability, which contributes to a more circular fashion cycle. It’s made from flax, which requires almost no irrigation and no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. You’ll just appreciate how this lightweight linen suit jacket will keep you cool under the spotlight (or on the dance floor).

Telmont Champagne 2017 Réserve De La Terre

Telmont puts sustainability first and plans to be ‘Climate Positive’ by 2030. This entails reducing greenhouse emissions to a strict minimum and capturing and repurposing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

The brand has reduced unnecessary packaging, reduced bottle weight, and discontinued transparent bottles as part of its sustainability pledge. Maison Telmont also makes some of the most delicious wine I’ve ever tasted, including the Réserve De La Terre 2017, a fresh, summer-y sparkling wine with hints of almond and bright citrus on the palate.

If you know someone who loves a sparkling drink but prefers to only shop from sustainable brands, Telmont’s Réserve De La Terre will be sure to delight.

Cotopaxi Allpa 35L Travel Pack

Help keep material waste out of landfills when traveling by swapping your luggage for a bag or backpack from Cotopaxi’s Del Día collection, which features bags and backpacks made from upcycled, leftover deadstock fabric. Deadstock is high-quality fabric unused by the original manufacturer or retailer, and by producing bags with deadstock, they estimate a 30% smaller carbon footprint than if it were made with new fabric.

All of Cotopaxi’s products are made with recycled nylon for the shell and recycled polyester for the liner. We love the upgraded Allpa 35L Travel Pack, which offers better weight distribution and air mesh shoulder straps so you won’t overheat or feel weighed down. Further proof of the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing: since 2024, 100% of Cotopaxi’s products are either made from repurposed or recycled material, or responsibly certified (by a third party).

Nixon Staple Watch

Nixon’s Staple Watch is streamlined for sustainability and all-around comfort, made of recycled ocean plastics, which helps keep trash out of the waves. You can wear it in and out of the ocean, thanks to its water-resistant design. The super-thin design, customizable display, and plush rubber-blend band also make it easy to wear daily.

Durable enough for any surf session, but stylish enough for everyday wear, the Staple Watch‘s versatility can’t be beat.

Naturepedic Organic Travel Pillow

Many companies promise better sleep on “eco-friendly” mattresses and pillows, but few take their commitment to sustainability as seriously as Naturepedic.

But when you’re away from your bed and on the road, don’t even bother messing with inflatable neck pillows — this travel pillow was designed with GOTS-certified organic and responsibly crafted with breathable materials like cotton and shredded latex chunks. That means no harmful polyurethane foam, ozone depleters, heavy metals, or certain flame retardants are ever used.

Naturepedic’s in-house team of designers and sleep experts also crafted the pillow so that the pieces within create space, keeping it super breathable while maintaining just the right amount of give to upgrade the headrest of your Economy seat.

Dieux Forever Eye Mask

It’s not just bath and body that’s going sustainable: Dieux is offering the ultimate sustainable skincare alternative for wasteful, disposable eye masks.

Reusable, eco-friendly, and made of 100% medical-grade silicone, the Forever Eye Mask lasts around one year and helps you get more out of the products you already have — just add your favorite gel, cream, or serum, then apply the lightweight patches under your eyes for maximum absorption.

The masks allow the product to fully sink in (and also give you the option to switch things out and customize your routine based on your desired result), leaving your skin refreshed and fully hydrated. For someone who wants their 10-step skincare routine to get a little greener, the Forever Eye Mask is a simple and effective solution.

RadRover 6 Plus Electric Fat Tire Bike

Want a gift that cuts down on carbon emissions and will save your recipient some precious time on their commute? With a robust 750-watt motor, this RadRover 6 Plus from Rad Power Bikes is just as capable of climbing steep hills as it is of powering through gnarly trails.

We like that the motor can go up to 45 miles on a single charge, making it one of the longest-range bikes we’ve tested. Beefy tires and rugged front shocks make it great for any type of terrain, and it’s got great stopping power thanks to a hydraulic braking system.

Choose between high-step and step-thru bike options; the latter is a little easier to get on and off, and it fits riders from five-foot-two to six-foot-two. The bike’s tough as nails, and with a long-range battery, it’s a great alternative to gas-guzzling cars or public transport.

Zeal Optics See Grass Sunglasses

Your next pair of shades might actually be plant-based: Zeal Optics’ See Grass collection is made from grass and recycled plastic bottles to create durable, stylish sunglass frames.

Not only are the frames made from plant fibers, but their Ellume Polarized lenses are as well. Zeal Optics says the material actually contributes to crisper, clearer vision and higher-quality colors. What can’t plants do?

All the lenses eliminate 99.9% of glare and block 100% of harmful UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. The unisex frames are totally stylish too, working as well for an outdoor adventure as they do for drinks on the patio.

Bearaby Tree Napper

You don’t know what you’re missing until you’ve tried sleeping with a weighted blanket, and we like this sustainable one from Bearaby, made from wood pulp sourced from eucalyptus trees in a responsible, closed-loop process. The resulting “TENCEL Lyocell” fabric is softer than silk, yet keeps you cool like linen.

The blanket is available in three weights — 15, 20, and 25 pounds — to provide a comforting “hug” as you sleep. The weighted blanket helps stimulate the production of serotonin (the happiness hormone), reduce cortisol (the stress hormone), and provide an overall sense of ease to help you relax and fall asleep.

Breville InFizz Fusion

You can substantially reduce the number of soda cans and seltzer bottles in your recycling bin by getting Breville’s InFizz Fusion.

This kitchen tool can infuse regular tap water with CO2, giving you total control over your beverage’s carbination. Using it with plain water will produce seltzer, but with a special cap that lets you control the release of carbonation, you can now fizz juice, tea, cocktails, wine, and re-fizz regular soda (which definitely sets it apart from rival carbonators like the SodaStream).

Not only will you be cutting down on your carbon footprint, but the InFizz Fusion will also save you or your friend and family member from having to lug heavy bottles and cans through a grocery store and into your place.

Lettuce Grow Outdoor Farmstand

The ultimate gift for the sustainably-minded person on your list is one of Lettuce Grow’s farmstands, which allow you to grow fresh produce at home without taking up too much space (roughly three square feet).

The base of the farmstand is made of ocean-bound plastic, and its watering system (you can hook it up to a hose or refill it manually with a bucket) uses about 95% less water than traditional gardening, according to Lettuce Grow. While it’s designed for outdoor use, Lettuce Grow also offers Glow Rings that let you farm indoors.

It’s an investment, but Lettuce Grow’s farmstand is an eco-friendly gift that can foster a love of gardening, reduce waste, and encourage healthier eating.

Conscious Step Socks

Put your best foot forward with Conscious Step sock gift boxes, which are not only sustainably sourced and packaged, but let you decide where you want to focus your giving.

Every purchase gives back to different nonprofits, with themed socks that do everything from “conserve rainforests” to “protect endangered animals”. The soft, organic cotton socks have Terry padding for extra comfort and are Fairtrade, GOTS, and vegan-certified (even the gift box is made from recycled packaging). We like these wintry designs that help support efforts to protect endangered animals in the Arctic.
