The U.S. Open is back this weekend, returning to Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island, N.Y. for the sixth time. The field is packed with talent, including some hungry top pros vying for the trophy.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is among them, seeking a career Grand Slam after narrowly losing the U.S. Open on multiple occasions. Bryson DeChambeau is also back, looking to hoist the trophy for a third time. Last year’s U.S. Open winner J.J. Spaun will also return for a go at back-to-back victories, while World No. 2 Rory McIlroy will look to follow up his win at Augusta with a second U.S. Open title.
The 2026 U.S. Open will air on NBC/Peacock and USA Network. If you don’t have cable, the best way to watch the 2026 U.S. Open online is to get a live TV streaming service that carries both NBC and USA Network.
DirecTV carries NBC and USA Network in its MySports Genre Pack and all of its larger Signature Packages. These plans start at $64.99 a month, but right now, all of them begin with a five-day free trial and a significant introductory discount.
Hulu + Live TV also carries NBC and USA Network for U.S. Open livestreams throughout the tournament. New subscribers can get a three-day free trial to start before payment kicks in at $89.99 a month.
USA Network and NBC are also available in Sling’s Blue and Orange + Blue live TV streaming packages. Sling doesn’t offer a free trial, but its packages are relatively affordable. The Blue plan starts at $45.99 a month and the Orange + Blue package starts at $60.99 a month.
Peacock will be streaming the portions of the U.S. Open that air on NBC, but not the parts on USA Network. Subscriptions are very affordable, starting at $10.99 a month for the Premium plan (Peacock Select won’t get you live golf streams).
