I woke up today, turned on my Lenovo Legion Go running 25H2, and the new Windows 11 battery icon was gone, replaced by the old one that's been there for years. My updates were paused for the max 5 weeks, and I'm in week 3. So Microsoft just remotely changed a setting on my computer while updates are basically off! That's super creepy! I checked the power settings and the toggle is just gone. This happened after a shutdown and restart, and I didn't see any update messages at all. I also have verbose info enabled to see crazy stuff like this. Crazy, right?
I've attached some images of the change. On a handheld device the actual percentage is a necessity and I've gotten used to this since it was enabled almost a year ago. I've also tried restarts and updates but nothing brings it back. Does anyone have any ideas, solutions or has it happened to anyone else?! The fact that Microsoft can enable server side changes to your personal device is wild and reprehensible!
