For many of us, Memorial Day marks the start of summer. And while the season doesn’t officially start until late June, the weather certainly would like to say otherwise. Of course, you don’t want to wait until almost July to replace the old window AC unit in your bedroom—price-wise, the earlier the better, and by earlier, we actually mean right now.
Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, retailers are offering steep discounts on window units, portable ACs, and even miniature cooling systems. Amazon, Lowe’s, and Wayfair have marked down editor-approved units from brands you know and trust, such as LG, GE, Fridgidaire, and Whynter. Looking for a new small room window unit? Check. Maybe something a little more portable for the basement? No problem. ACs of all shapes, sizes, and BTUs are included on this list, and they’re all discounted, of course.
