Save Nearly 50% on Samsung, Roku, TCL, and Hisense TVs for Memorial Day Weekend

55-inch Class OLED 4K S85F Series

Samsung is the number one TV brand year in and year out for a reason. When I worked in the TV/home theater installation biz, all of our top clients would get a Samsung. The older models of Frame TVs do go on sale from time to time, but deals are pretty few and far between. Right now, though, one of their best OLED models is nearly 50 percent off, which feels like a holiday in and of itself. This high-end model will typically run you over $1,400, so getting it under $800 feels like highway robbery. This is my favorite deal thus far.

55-inch Class T7 Series QLED TV

TCL as a whole is criminally underrated. They offer Samsung-quality picture at extremely reasonable prices, and the brand is a stalwart of our best 4K TV awards. The T7 is a fantastic QLED option with deep contrast, enhanced brightness, and an impressive pro processor that optimizes your viewing experience based on what you’re consuming. It’s now available on Amazon for just $400. For context, I bought a Samsung 50-inch standard UHD TV on Black Friday a few years ago for $450. When you factor in inflation, this is an insane deal.

55-inch Hi-QLED S7 4K CanvasTV Series

Speaking of frame TVs, Hisense offers what our editors consider the best bang for your buck. Right now, its value might be at an all-time high, as the latest version is over 40 percent off. This is one of the better-looking frame TVs out there, and it’s even great for gaming, thanks to an impressive 144 Hz refresh rate and AI Smooth Motion technology. If you want to spend even less, last year’s version is now just $600. You can’t go wrong either way, though.

75-inch U6 Pro Series Mini‑LED 4K TV

Hisense has a few great deals this time around, and the U6 Pro is no exception. It’s also nearly 40 percent off and offers a similar 144 Hz refresh rate to the CanvasTV, along with a built-in subwoofer, anti-glare capabilities, and a crystal clear picture. The Unibody Slim design is also a pretty neat feature; it really highlights the picture and gives it a similar vibe to a frame TV. This one, though, is just a tad more versatile, especially if you don’t plan on mounting it.

55-Inch Plus Mini-LED Smart TV

Roku has really stepped up its TV game in recent years. The brand was originally synonymous with its streaming sticks, and while its original TVs were generally considered “okay,” a lot has changed since then. They offer a few options at different price points, and I have the brand’s Pro Series line in my bedroom. Its mid-tier line, the Plus Series, is also fantastic and uses mini-LED technology for a clear picture and vivid colors. You can get the 55-inch Plus series TV for a little over $350 on Amazon right now, and I couldn’t recommend this deal enough.

98-inch Class 4K Crystal UHD DU9000 Series HDR Smart TV

If you’re looking for a serious, home-theater-esque upgrade, this 98-inch 4K TV from Samsung is now 40 percent off. This is your standard UHD tech, so the picture isn’t as crisp as some of the OLED options we’ve highlighted, but the unit’s AI-powered supersize picture enhancer makes up a lot of ground. A TV this big can typically run you at least $2,500, so if you’re a “go big or go home” kind of person, this is a can’t-miss opportunity. Your mancave will thank you.

55-inch Class QLED 4K Smart NXTFRAME TV

We love a good frame TV at PopMech, and TCL offers another budget-friendly alternative to Samsung’s The Frame. Right now, the NXTFRAME is almost 40 percent off on Amazon ahead of Memorial Day Weekend, and $800 is a fantastic price. It’s one of the slimmest frame TVs out there, at just 1.1 inches deep, and it includes a stylish off-white magnetic wooden frame and a complimentary curated art gallery. It’s also a solid TV for gaming, and we love its ultra-matte anti-glare screen, especially when it’s in art mode.

Fire TV 55-inch Omni QLED Series 4K Smart TV

Amazon’s in-house Fire TV brand is another underrated gem, and it makes some similarly fantastic budget-friendly QLED TVs. The 55-inch Omni is now 34 percent off and under $350. That’s virtually unheard of. It checks all of the boxes for a solid if not spectacular QLED TV: stunning Quantum Dot display, Dolby Vision IQ, and adaptive brightness. Amazon has really stepped up its TV game in recent years, and this is a pretty great example.

55-inch Class QLED Floating Picture Frame TV

You might not be familiar with the iFFALCON name, but it’s not some bootleg brand off the street. It’s actually a subsidiary of TCL, and it offers the same great performance at a fraction of the price. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better frame TV at $500, let alone one from TCL. It doesn’t require a bezel and comes with a mount that’s super easy to install. You also don’t have to hang it at all (although we suggest doing so). I have the 65-inch model in my living room, and I couldn’t say enough good things about it.

55-inch Select Series 4K Smart TV

We have another Roku device to round out this list, and it’s easily the best option under $300. This one is from the brand’s select series, so it uses standard UHD, but the drop off isn’t all that noticeable. The TV’s HDR10 is amongst the best on the market, and the Roku’s Smart Picture technology helps clean up incoming TV signals, optimizes them, and gives you a custom viewing experience based on what you’re watching. Plus, you’re getting some baked-in savings based on the endless included entertainment options, which include 500-plus TV channels, live in-season shows, classic movies, weather, and more.
