The Best Electric Pressure Washer We’ve Tested Is $120 Of...

  • Our favorite electric pressure washer is currently $120 off on Amazon.
  • The Greenworks Pro delivers up to 3,000 PSI and 2.0 GPM.
  • Take nearly 25% off the ultra-durable, editor-tested device for a limited time.

Spring pollen is back with a vengeance. While we haven’t had a sustained spell of warm weather in my neck of the woods, spring season is most definitely here, and my allergies can back me up. One of the best ways to get pollen—and virtually every other substance—off your car, siding, deck, or newly upgraded patio is to give it a solid power wash.

You don’t need a heavy-duty commercial device for most jobs around the house. Gas-powered devices are undoubtedly more powerful, but electric pressure washers have become a lot more efficient in recent years, not to mention more eco-friendly (it is Earth Month, after all).

If you are going the electric route, there’s one that has held up well against some of the (much) higher-priced gas-powered units in our testing: the Greenworks Pro. Better yet, the 3,000 PSI unit just got a seasonally appropriate discount on Amazon, and you can now save $120 on the editor-approved device.

Pros

  • Impressive functionality and power output
  • Large soap tank for bigger jobs
  • Rugged construction and reinforced hose increase durability

Cons

  • Heavier than a lot of electric units

Typically priced around $500, the brushless pressure washer is amongst the most powerful electric devices on the market, and held up exceptionally well during our testing. It features an impressive 2.0 flow rate, a high power and volume output, and a continuously running motor for uninterrupted cleaning. You don’t have to go by just us, either (but when have we steered you wrong?). The device is certified by the Pressure Washer Manufacturers’ Association, and water pressure and PSI are independently verified. PSI is especially crucial; in many cases, lower-end brands tend to inflate that number. And this has most certainly been the case with some of the more inexpensive electric pressure washers I’ve used in the past. But the Greenworks Pro is highly reliable and offers 50 percent more flow than most brand-name electric units.

A few more impressive features stood out during our testing. The wand’s convenient pressure sensor automatically adjusts output to match the current nozzle. This makes for a steadier flow and decreases shaking you might find in lower-end models. Additionally, the attached one-gallon soap container is larger than most of the units we’ve tested. It’s also a little larger, but its thick 10-inch wheels make up for it with some really solid maneuverability. The device’s 25-FT kink-resistant, steel-braided hose is also surprisingly durable, especially for how malleable it is.

The whole setup comes with 15-, 25-, and 40-degree tips, soap and turbo nozzles, and a similarly hardworking metal gun. A three-year warranty on the tools and a 10-year motor warranty round out the impressive perks included in the purchase.

While we’d stick to light and medium-duty applications for the most part, the Greenworks Pro definitely has the juice for serious jobs when called upon. And at its current price, it’s a relative no-brainer.
