Black Friday, not Prime Day, is typically the best time of the year to get a new Nintendo Switch Console. The Holiday season is when Nintendo usually discounts its consoles, but this past year was a notable exception; not even the original Switch was on sale. This wasn’t all that surprising—the Switch 2 was just a few months old. Pre-orders flew off the shelves. But with Nintendo announcing it’s set to increase the price of the Switch this September by $50, we have a whole different ball game. Not to mention, Prime Day has way better deals than we saw in December, anyway.

Amazon is offering a pretty great bundle-and-save option during its annual savings event. The new “Choose Your Bundle” package can save you up to $30 off the rip. You can choose to download one of Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia (three games you’ll probably be buying, anyway) with the Prime Day deal. We’re realistically looking at close to $80 in savings, though, factoring in the looming price hike. This is basically your last shot at getting the Switch 2 (and a game) for $500.
Some of the latest Switch 2 games are also up to 50 percent off. We were seeing around 20 percent off legacy titles from the O.G. Switch back in December, so this is a pretty substantial uptick. We also found another hack: Nintendo is offering 10 percent off $10 e-shop cards, which allows you to stack savings.
Some of our favorite Switch 2 accessories are also on sale, including this ridiculously convenient Belkin Carrying Case with an Integrated fast-charging Power Bank. That thing is a lifesaver. Anyway, check out our favorite deals below, and make sure to take advantage of the rare savings before it’s too late. I know I am.
