Frame TVs have become a fad that doesn’t look like it’s fading anytime soon. They make too much sense: a two-for-one big-screen TV and an eye-catching piece of living room decor. They’re inherently a great value, but when they go on sale, they’re essentially a can’t-miss. And right now, during Prime Day, you can get our all-time favorite frame TV for nearly half its regular price.
Samsung’s The Frame is considered the big kahuna of frame TVs, and its 2025 model is over $400 off. That’s not all, though. For a limited time, you can get a free bezel with your purchase, plus a month of Microsoft Game Pass for new users. We’re talking about over $500 in savings, all things considered.
The Frame debuted back in 2017 and started a major shift in the TV space. Other top brands have since followed suit, with TCL, Hisense, and most recently, Amazon, releasing their own hybrid art TVs.
The Frame has expanded quite a bit since. The latest models have been refined substantively over nearly a decade. The 2025 model boasts a vivid QLED display, an anti-glare matte coating, and quantum dot technology for peak brightness and vivid contrast.
In terms of versatility and performance, it’s the best frame TV on the market. The Frame features up to 4K 144Hz and smooth, lifelike visuals for gaming, as well as customized, AI-enhanced picture and sound that adapts to the type of content you’re consuming. Samsung’s adaptive brightness sensor automatically adjusts the display’s brightness to match lighting conditions throughout the day.
Another underrated feature: energy conservation. The Frame features a built-in motion sensor that automatically turns art mode on or off when it senses a human presence. Its refresh rate will also adjust from 120 Hz to 60 Hz when art mode is activated.
The device doesn’t typically come with a bezel, but you’ll get one for free during Prime Day. They typically cost between $100-$200, so this is pretty significant. It also comes with an external hub to house all ports and connections to tidy up your setup without drilling through your wall. It looks great paired with a modern TV console (like this one from Povision, which is also on sale for Prime Day).
Our chief, and really only complaint: you’ll have to pay for a subscription to access Samsung’s robust art collection. It does feature over 2,000 works, so it’s not the worst deal in the world. You can always go the DIY route and curate your own art to save yourself some money, though.
All things considered, this is one of the best deals we’ve seen during Prime Day thus far, and that’s saying a lot. If you’re in the market for a versatile frame TV setup at essentially half the price, impulsivity is a good thing.
