Outlining his vision for the new tenure, Doshi said that the roadmap for 2026–2028 will be guided by the theme, “Let’s Build a Better Chennai,” with focus on the four pillars - Government, Developers, Society, and Customers. He stated that meaningful progress can be achieved only when all four pillars work together in alignment. He added that every initiative will be driven by a shared commitment to build a better Chennai that is progressive, inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready.

The release quoting Krishnan said: “Chennai stands at a pivotal moment where real estate can power the next phase of growth. From enabling the rapid expansion of Global Capability Centres to creating high-quality, environmentally compliant office spaces, developers have a crucial role to play in shaping a future-ready city. With progressive reforms, expanding metro connectivity, and a clear push for transparency, Chennai could lead by example in inclusive, sustainable urban development.”
