Marking its 25th year, the Indian School of Business (ISB) has set a new record, with students graduating from its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management securing the highest annual package of ₹1.56 crore per annum.
The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 (Co2026) was held in Mohali on Monday, while the Hyderabad campus hosted its ceremony last Saturday with 808 students receiving their degrees.
According to the combined placement results announced on Monday, the ISB PGP Class of 2026 received 1,117 job offers. The consulting, technology, and BFSI sectors remained the primary drivers of hiring.
Accenture emerged as the top recruiter with more than 100 offers, followed by firms such as Mastercard and EY GDS, each extending over 40 offers. The School, which has campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali, also saw strong hiring from leading consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, BCG, Bain & Company, and Deloitte.
The technology segment witnessed offers from major recruiters including Amazon, BrowserStack, Genpact, Google, IBM, InMobi, Razorpay, and Uber. Among the BFSI recruiters were Ambit Private, Avendus Capital, Barclays, DC Advisory, DSP Asset Managers, Gaja Capital, Jefferies India, Kotak Mahindra Capital, Nomura, and Xander Group.
In the FMCG space, companies such as ITC, P&G, Tata Consumer Products, AB InBev, L’Oréal, and Landmark UAE made offers. The e-commerce segment saw participation from Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, Swiggy, and Zomato (Eternal).
This year, the school reported a widening recruiter base, with 25 first-time recruiters joining campus placements, including UBS, Reliance Foundation Hospital, NTT Data, and Teradata.
International placements also improved, with 30 offers this year compared with 26 in 2025. The strength of the PGP programme in enabling career mobility was reflected in the outcomes, with 67 per cent of students moving to a new industry and 69 per cent shifting to a new function.
The average salary for Co2026 stood at ₹37.29 lakh per annum, reflecting an increase of around 11 per cent over the previous cohort.
The school said the average annual CTC of its 25th graduating cohort after placements represents a 156 per cent increase compared with the cohort’s average pre-ISB CTC.
As the ceremonies concluded with the traditional hat toss, the graduates celebrated the culmination of a transformative journey.
The PGP Class of 2026 now joins ISB’s global network of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators shaping industries and institutions across India and the world.
Established in 2001 by visionaries from academia and industry, ISB continues to focus on combining rigorous research, global faculty-led teaching across disciplines, and an industry-relevant curriculum to develop leaders capable of navigating complex global business and societal challenges.
