The Central Board of Verification and re-evaluation portal for class 12 students went live in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The site has become operational after being delayed twice.

In a statement , CBSE said the online portal for verification of issues in scanned copies of answer books and re-evaluation of answers will remain open from 2 June 2026 to 6 June 2026 for students who have obtained scanned copies of their evaluated answer books. It also outlined the process steps.

The process, including application submission and fee payment, is completely online, and CBSE will examine the requests and communicate the outcome upon completion.

The Board, through its official X account, was also seen responding to students who faced technical issues.

Sources said that while the portal is functioning normally and operating smoothly, a few technical issues have been reported and are being addressed promptly.

In another post, the Board said,” Please note that Aadhaar Verification has been included for security reasons. For children who do not have Aadhaar, the parent’s, relative’s or guardian’s Aadhaar details may be used.”

The Board is under scrutiny after students and cybersecurity researchers reported several discrepancies in its OSM portal and scoring mechanisms . Nearly 4 lakh students are said to have opted for re-evaluation this year.
