Anthropic launches dedicated Claude Security platform to public beta

Anthropic has launched its AI model, Claude Enterprise, which is now in public beta and available for the company’s enterprise partners.

“AI cyber security capabilities are advancing fast. Today’s models are already highly effective at finding flaws in software code; the next generation will be more capable still, and will be particularly effective at autonomously exploiting these flaws,” Anthropic said in a 30 April blog post.

“Now is the time for organisations to act to improve their security, preparing for a world in which working software exploits are much easier to discover.”

The model, which is based on Opus 4.7, has already been tested by hundreds of organisations during a limited preview, where security teams were able to scan codebases for vulnerabilities and create targeted patches.

The feedback from those users has helped shape this public beta release, which boasts targeted and scheduled scans, improved integration with audit systems, and better tracking of triaged targets.

The model requires neither API integration nor a custom agent build. Anthropic said that any organisation that already uses Clause can start using Claude Security right away.

The company also announced the integration of its Opus 4.7 model into a range of popular software tools that many organisations already use, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, TrendAI, and Wiz. Anthropic partners, such as Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, Infosys, and PwC, are also helping organisations deploy Claude-integrated security solutions.

“We are entering a pivotal time for cyber security. AI is compressing the timeline between vulnerability discovery and exploitation,” Anthropic said.

“We believe the right response is to make sure defenders have access to frontier capabilities in the ways most accessible to them, through Claude directly and through our partners.”

Harpreet Sidhu, global lead at Accenture Cybersecurity, said organisations need such advanced solution today, not tomorrow.

“We are proud to be a premier partner for Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.7 and Claude Security,” Sidhu said.

“With this powerful model, Accenture is already delivering mission-critical cyber defences at scale, helping organisations move quickly from adoption to immediate implementation.”
