Kinetic IT earns fifth Deloitte Best Managed Companies award

Kinetic IT has been named one of Australia’s Best Managed Companies for the fifth consecutive year.

The recognition comes through the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards program, run by Deloitte Private Australia, which assesses organisations against four pillars: strategy; culture and commitment; capabilities and innovation; and governance and financial performance. The Australian program forms part of a global network spanning more than 1,300 private companies.

Kinetic IT interim chief executive Shane Quinn said the milestone reflected the company’s long-term focus on execution and customer outcomes, particularly across government and critical infrastructure sectors.

“We’re honoured to be recognised once again as one of Australia’s Best Managed Companies,” Quinn said in a statement.

“Achieving five consecutive awards is truly remarkable and is testament to the strength of our strategy, the dedication of our people, and our commitment to supporting government and critical infrastructure with secure, reliable, and impactful outcomes.”

Quinn said the company’s last 12 months had been defined by continued investment in capability, innovation, and delivery discipline, reinforcing the company’s operating model and governance foundations.

“With a clear strategy, values-led culture, and strong governance, we aim to keep raising the bar for what ‘best managed’ looks like in Australia’s technology and private sectors,” Quinn said.

“This award reinforces the importance of long-term thinking, sustainable growth, and supporting Australia’s sovereign digital capability.”

Deloitte partner and Australia Best Managed Companies leader Claire Szatsznajder said this year’s theme, “connected for growth”, highlighted the importance of strategic clarity and purpose.

“We are proud to once again recognise and support Australia’s outstanding private companies through the Best Managed Companies program,” Szatsznajder said.

“Our winners are defined by their strategic intention, with each organisation demonstrating a well-defined and executed strategy anchored in a compelling purpose and mission.”
