“So you may have heard One Nation’s Fire the Liar donation site crashed today,” the spokesperson said on the Facebook page Pauline Hanson’s Please Explain.

“It crashed because of a deliberate DDoS attack by fearful Labor goons.”

The spokesperson went on to explain what a DDoS attack was, describing how a surge in internet traffic from many different sources can cause a site or service to crash or slow down.

“The attack was targeting the availability of our donation website and is not a data breach,” the spokesperson added.

“No personal information, payment details or supporter records were accessed or compromised.”

According to the post, the site’s technical team was able to “kill the attack” and bring the site back up “to its booming success so that we can get rid of Anthony Albanese and his lying Labor government”.

The post ended by sharing a link to the site in question, where Hanson has been claiming to have received millions of dollars in political donations.

Cyber Daily has reached out to One Nation for further comment regarding the incident.

Hanson and her party are enjoying a surge in popularity, and is currently polling better than both major parties.

In response, the Labor government, particularly Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, has questioned the veracity of Hanson’s donation figures.
