First up this week, North Norfolk District Council in the UK is seeking a bundle of web developers.
Web developer, Norfolk, UK
At North Norfolk District Council, we are delivering a significant programme of Digital Transformation which will impact on every aspect of our organisation, focusing on delivering better value, quality and efficiency in all of our services across North Norfolk. At the heart of that transformation is the ongoing development of standards based web services, which offer an engaging user experience across everything the council does.
To expand this, we are looking to appoint an additional developer to join the existing team delivering both the council's public facing website and intranet, which is based on the Microsoft technology stack.
The successful applicant will work on the development of transactional based services which are integrated with various back office systems and data. You will implement and extend standard frameworks as well as developing bespoke functionality to provide innovative web based solutions to business problems.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and importantly, innovative in their approach to work. They will require excellent technical and interpersonal skills to turn business requirements into practical solutions.
Next up is Leamington Spa based game developer Kwalee, which is hiring for several roles. Kwalee is, we're reliably informed, one of the world's fastest growing studios. Thanks to games including Draw it, Looper, Jetpack Jump, Kwalee has hundreds of millions of players across the globe and claims to be in the top 5 mobile developers worldwide.
Either way, it's looking for everything from game artists to heads of creative and, for us, programmers. Lots of programmers.
That's it for another week. Good luck. ®
