when mike said a bunch of letters with secrets came piling in, i thought they were written by people. That people become so attached to opening up to LLMs, that when it shuts down they’ve lost that connection and need to just get secrets out by any means

Independence Day takes place in a fictional town in New Jersey. I had a chance to ask him where exactly that was... sort of a fictional town that I would guess is sort of like Little Silver or perhaps somewhere in western Monmouth County horse country. Such a beautiful book. Can't recommend it enough.
