Sara Clemens: This interview is so my jam – the hubs is from LA and we enjoy turning a day trip to Disneyland into a game of how to ride everything we want, eat everyting we want, and usually score some exclusive or elusive trinket, too (we've become really good at it, though we've found we have to pay the premium price to get everything we want done in one day). "Voting" is heavily reliant on a primary process to run people worth voting for. And "the people" are usually cut out of that process, which is why Mamdani's primary win is the right direction for political change. Getting ranked choice voting everywhere will also help. Avatar 6:56pm

Mike Sin: What's amazing about all of this, if you've lived long enough, is how, say, about 40 years ago, necessities were cheap, but luxuries were expensive as hell. I think the TV my father bought in 1984 was way more expensive than his employer-based health insurance. The diversions were made a lot cheaper for a reason!
