was visiting an older couple and woman got a phone call that her paramount account was about to expire. she went to get her credit card and i asked 'do you HAVE a paramount account?' and she said 'i didn't think we did but i don't know. i convinced her to hang up and she could go online to reup if she actually had an account - they didn't. but she was ready to fork over a couple hundred bucks.

I used to make elaborate and hilarious replies to pig butchers until they gave up (repeatedly asking them to explain cryptocurrency, telling them stories like a murderous gang was after us both), but once I found the pig butchers get beaten by their syndicate bosses, I stopped.
I use the DuckDuckGo web browser - if you open a youtube URL in the DDG browser, it plays the YouTube video in "Duck Player," which strips out Google's surveillance.

Sometimes that works, mostly it's best to ignore it. Also, be like me and never automatically load images, because the tracking pixel lets them know you opened the email, which means it's a valid address to a potential victim.
