People: AI could more credibly wipe out top and mid level management, because it's pattern matching skills far exceed those of those C-level jobs. A responsible board should replace their CEO with AI, or more cheaply hire some humans as beards for machine learning.

Slavery was premised on naked violence.
Go along with the big tech power or loser yer livelihood…a better comparison is like poor whites working along side the slaves during harvest time. Who makes pennies while who makes hundreds and hundreds of dollars?

Since you're discussing this subject, I was pondering over how Pavlovian responses develop in the brain through instructive suggestions and experiences, and how one can "retrain" the brain by "reaccustomizing" our brain by substituting established associations with new associations.

Well, that's an odd question, and one I have pondered also. We who are trapped in the framework of our thoughts, desire to step outside of our thoughts and influence the process itself. Yet it *is* possible, and happens all the time. A favorite book on my shelf is _As a Man Thinketh_ by James Allen. It is all about that subject.
