there was a webinar about issues that have come up with microchips (and of course *now* i cannot my notes, the webinar information, etc.) -- such as the rescue group who did the microchipping no longer exists, microchips purchased on amazon, etc. . . . microchips really *should* be a good thing, but they are far from perfect :( 🤖 ♥ 6:25pm

Webhamster Henry: I just want to clarify that when I talked about using the public camera network as an artistic resource back in my 2018 interview [ www.wfmu.org... ] I was _not_ advocating snagging all the cameras everywhere to be used for artistic purposes . yes, exactly! i had mine activated through the company (Home Again) -- and the chip was implanted when little Ringo had all this massive dental work . . . iirc, the context of this webinar was lost and found cats, dogs, etc.; reunification; is the cat a "stray" or "feral" or "lost;" etc. . . . so if they end up in a shelter, or rescued by a human, they could be scanned for a chip, but the chip ends up being a dead end   6:41pm

Handy Haversack: There was a great article in Hell Gate today on the criminally untalented criminals of the erstwhile Adams admin who have evidence in play against them in their bribery case from Signal text chains. They'd set the app to delete the texts in eight hours -- and then taken multiple screenshots of it to prove how tough they were at negotiating bribes over text.
