lpfnrobin: When Siri came out - my daughters used to ask it all kinds of questions - I overheard them complain to Siti that "Your dumb Siri". I told them please dont do that. They asked why - I said because you never know what will happen in the future. It's not good to kick a robot dog nor tell a chatbot things that you wouldn't want to happen to you. Thats my thoughts anyways.

Ike: Kicking a robot dog is fine, especially for testing purposes, as long as you remain mindful of the long-term risks of your own self becoming numbed to the habit of kicking anything dog-shaped. You don't want to ultimately gradually transition to kicking actual dogs. As absurd as that may sound now, you don't know what may change in the future.
