That is when it becomes dangerous imo. I once tried to share this fact with a group of vibe coders and was told I didn't understand the stress of coding. I've coded a tad for fun but I guess I don't understand the over all stress of it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Avatar 🤖 Swag For Life Member 6:12pm

The one currently being used is using a backing track I made with a more primitive "AI" from iRealPro that takes chord changes and plays them with a - now crude sounding - virtual band. Jeff Moore: So far, the only thing labeled "AI" which I've had any use for is learning-system-based tools to remove dust and other schmutz from photos (and those aren't always any better / as good as the previous-generation tools, but they sometimes work a little bit better at guessing what would have been underneath the removed dirt); but you always have to try and evaluate visually each time whether the result makes visual sense, because sometimes these tools hallucinate hilariously.

I've also had some luck with "AI" reduction of grain-like digital sensor noise, but I actually usually prefer the look of photos without that step. The default settings for these tools are always way too strong and look creepily unnatural, but *sometimes* I like the look when the effect is dialed way back.

In all of these cases, the processing is done on my own machine's CPU / GPU; I never knowingly use server-side "AI" processing.
