Kylian Mbappe of France celebrates scoring his team's second goal during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group I match against Iraq at Philadelphia Stadium on June 22, 2026 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Boston plays host to a tale of two strikers as Norway's Erling Haaland goes up against France captain Kylian Mbappe at the FIFA World Cup 2026 – and you can live stream the game around the world for free.

When the World Cup draw back in December pitted these teams against each other, all neutrals hoped it would play out this way. Haaland and Mbappe arrive at this Group I finale in excellent form, having each scored four goals in the first two games of the tournament to fire their respective countries into the knockout stage. Both players will be eyeing the Golden Boot, but first they go head-to-head in the battle to win Group I.

Dark horses Norway have lived up to expectations in their first World Cup for 28 years. Haaland scored twice in the 4-1 rout of Iraq and then repeated the trick in a 3-2 win over Senegal that was more comfortable than the scoreline suggests. Norway's goal difference is marginally inferior to that of France, so they must beat the 2022 finalists to win the group or they face the tougher draw in the last 32.

Mbappe also scored twice in each of France's opening two games, a a 3-1 win over Senegal and Monday's 3-0 triumph over Iraq, which was delayed by two hours mid-match on safety grounds due to adverse weather. That minor inconvenience was put into perspective this week by the death of head coach Didier Deschamps' mother and the manager will miss this game as he is back in France to attend the funeral. Assistant coach Guy Stephan steps in knowing Les Bleus will seal top spot if they avoid defeat.

So, read on as we show you exactly how to watch Norway vs France for free from anywhere in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
