With the start of the World Cup less than a month away, you'll want to make sure you have a TV that will show it in all its glory. How does an excellent 65-inch mini-LED TV for a great price sound? If you like that idea, then you should snap up the Hisense U7SG Mini-LED 4K TV for $998.99 (was $1,499.99).

We've not had it in our testing room yet, but we were suitably impressed when we saw Hisense’s new mid-range mini-LED TV during a recent reveal event. Not only is it the perfect size to immerse you in every single bit of the action, but it also boasts a range of game-changing features, including Google TV, a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ for more vibrant colors, and Dolby Atmos support for improved audio.

Today's best Mini-LED TV deal

Despite not having tested the Hisense U7SG, we can get a pretty good idea of what this TV is capable of from the specs. At the heart of the set are the mini-LED backlights, which promise to deliver "exceptional brightness, true blacks, and stunning detail whether you're hosting a watch party in a bright room or diving into a late-night movie."

Then there's the anti-reflection and glare-free technology, which spreads out strong reflections so they're less noticeable. This is achieved through a matte coating, which our team discovered was much less aggressive than Samsung's and therefore delivered a more natural picture.

Gamers will love the native 165Hz refresh rate, which handles gaming, sports and action at high speeds. When this is paired with AI smooth motion and Motion Rate 660, blur and choppiness should all but disappear.

There are so many TVs on the market that it's easy to become lost and unsure of which is the best one for you. If you'd like some buying help, then we highly recommend checking out our guides to the best TVs and the best mini-LED TVs. We've collated all our favorite sets based on features and budget.
