The teams faced off in a dress rehearsal on Saturday, a game that neither Maurizio Sarri, his players or Lazio's fans will want to dwell on. Lazio do, however, have players for big occasions. Pedro's late double famously crushed Inter's title hopes on the penultimate weekend of last season, while Edoardo Motta saved four of Atalanta’s five penalties to send Le Aquile into the final riding a sense of destiny.
