Looking to watch TSN – Canada's premium streaming home for sports content – from outside Canada?

If you're visiting the US, UK, Australia or anywhere else, you can use a VPNNordVPN works best – to unblock TSN+ and stream as normal from any location.

TSN offers a huge live and on-demand sports library in Canada, featuring the NHL, NFL, MLS, FIFA World Cup, Formula 1, ATP and WTA tennis, golf majors, curling, the Olympics, and much more year-round.

Beyond live events, TSN also features a growing library of on-demand highlights, analysis shows and exclusive TSN Originals sports documentaries covering athletes, iconic moments and Canadian sporting history.

However, if you’re outside Canada, TSN will be geo-restricted due to licensing agreements, meaning you won’t be able to access it. If you’re traveling or living abroad and still want to enjoy TSN+, here’s a quick guide on how to watch it from anywhere in the world.

How to watch TSN in Canada

To begin watching TSN, you’ll first need to register for an account. Thankfully, the process only takes a few moments.

Register: Head to the TSN website, click “Sign In” in the top-right corner, then enter your email and follow the prompts to create your account.

Next, choose a subscription plan. Traditional TV fans can opt for the main TSN plan at CA$29.99 per month, which also includes TSN+. If you’re a cord cutter, you can instead choose TSN+ – which is what you’ll actually be able to use while traveling outside Canada – priced at CA$8 per month or CA$80 per year.

But you can only do this with a Canadian IP address. Abroad right now? Here's how to unblock TSN+...

How to watch TSN from anywhere

TSN is only available to watch in Canada, which means it won't work if you try to stream when overseas on business or vacation. However, you can always download a VPN to overcome these regional restrictions and access TSN+ as normal when you're outside Canada. You may be surprised how simple it is to do.

What sports does TSN carry?

TSN is built around live sport and on-demand highlights, offering one of the broadest multi-sport line-ups in Canada. Hockey is naturally a major attraction, with coverage spanning the NHL, World Juniors, PWHL, CHL, and AHL.

Tennis is another well-stacked category, with access to both the ATP and WTA tours, alongside tournament coverage and highlights throughout the season. Golf fans are also well catered for, with the PGA Tour (including all four majors, such as the Masters), LPGA, Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, and DP World/European Tour events.

Soccer fans are pretty well served, too, thanks to comprehensive coverage of MLS, La Liga, UEFA European Championship, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Beyond that, TSN also covers select NFL matches (Monday Night Football is exclusive), MLB, CFL, Formula 1, curling, NCAA sport, the Summer and Winter Olympics, motorsports, basketball including the NBA and WNBA, making it one of the most comprehensive sports streaming options around.

What streaming devices are supported by TSN?

  • Amazon Fire Stick
  • Android TC
  • Android phones & tablets
  • Apple TV 4K & Apple TV HD 16+
  • Bell Streamer
  • Chromecast
  • iPhone & iPad iOS 16+
  • LG
  • Roku
  • Airplay
  • Samsung TV
  • Xbox Series

What other content does TSN have?

In addition to an exhaustive live sports line-up, TSN also offers a growing catalog of TSN Originals – Canada's largest collection of award-winning sports documentaries that spotlight athletes, iconic moments, and personal journeys.

TSN's 200+ titles in this category include Man in the Mirror, which follows Canadian footballer Liam Millar as he reflects on injury setbacks, identity, and his career path through Europe. In the Blink of an Eye tells the story of defender Sam Adekugbe, whose life was dramatically impacted by the 2023 Turkey earthquake while he was playing abroad.

Then there’s Now the 2-2, which revisits Joe Carter’s legendary 1993 World Series-winning home run and the unforgettable moment it delivered for Toronto sports fans. There are plenty more in the library, too, covering hockey, football, soccer, baseball, and Canadian sporting history.
