Apple M5 MacBook Pro 14-inch Laptop

If you've been thinking about buying an Apple MacBook, Best Buy is having a fantastic sale right now with savings across several M4 and M5 models. Better still, delivery is available in time for Father's Day if you're looking for a premium last-minute gift.

One of the standout offers cuts the price of the 13-inch MacBook Air with Apple's M4 chip now $1199 (was $1599).

That's a massive $400 saving on a premium laptop that packs plenty of power for work, creative projects, and everyday use without weighing you down. Apple's M4 processor sits alongside a solid 24GB of memory and a roomy 1TB SSD, giving this model plenty of room for demanding apps, large files, and multitasking across dozens of browser tabs.

The best MacBook deal

In his glowing review, our expert Lance called it "the best ultraportable," noting that it remains his favorite laptop. "The MacBook Air 13-inch (M4) has an excellent build and design, working on it is a pleasure, and the M4 provides all the power I need for the widest range of tasks," he said. Adding, "I appreciate the long battery life, bright, colorful screen, and clear audio. It has enough ports to support my almost always connected external screen, and I’m glad there’s still a vestigial 3.5mm headphone jack."

It also delivers up to 18 hours of battery life, so it can keep going through a full day without you needing to worry about hunting for a charger.

The 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display supports one billion colors and delivers a 2560 x 1664 resolution that keeps text crisp and images sharp.

At less than half an inch thick, with a compact size and weight of less than 2.8 pounds, it's an easy laptop to carry between home, the office, hotels, and coffee shops.

You'll also get two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe charging connection, a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, with support for up to two external displays.

A 12MP Center Stage camera, three microphones, and four speakers with Spatial Audio make it a great option for work video calls and even entertainment.

Sky Blue gives this model a fresh appearance without straying too far from Apple's understated style, adding a little personality to an already attractive package.

$1,199 is a terrific price for a MacBook Air with 24GB of memory and 1TB of storage and while it's a bit on the expensive side for a Father's Day gift, if you can afford it, it's a definite must-buy.
