De'Longhi makes some of the best espresso machines I've tested here at TechRadar, and this is the perfect time to pick one up. Amazon has cut hundreds of dollars off selected De'Longhi machines for Memorial Day, and as TechRadar's resident coffee expert — and trained barista — I've rounded up my top three deals to save you the effort of hunting around.
My favorite of the three is the De'Longhi Dedica for just $149.95 (was $249.95). Espresso machines in this price bracket are usually pretty disappointing, but the Dedica is the exception to the rule. Despite its tiny size, it's able to sustain the temperature and pressure necessary to brew consistently excellent coffee, and its steam wand is solidly made and easy to position for easy milk-frothing.

Best manual coffee maker
De'Longhi Dedica
The De'Longhi Dedica is down to just $149.95 at Amazon (was $249.95), making it one of the cheapest De'Longhi coffee makers you can buy today. You're not sacrificing quality though — this is a top quality espresso machine, made to the same exacting standards as the brand's pricier models. Unlike some other budget-priced models, it can achieve and sustain the temperature and pressure necessary to extract espresso properly, for the same results time after time.
It looks great too, with a glossy stainless steel finish and compact design that's small enough to tuck into the tiniest kitchens. We reviewed the nearly identical De'Longhi Dedica Style back in 2021, and found its three-button interface super simple to use, even for beginners.
The only drawbacks were its small drip tray, which makes it tricky to use two cups at once, and its tendency to drip for a couple of seconds after extracting a shot. Neither of those things are exactly deal-breakers, though.
If you like the look of this compact coffee maker but you want something that can make cold-brew as well, take a look at the De'Longhi Dedica Duo. This little machine, released last year, is an updated version of the original Dedica with a new look and the ability to switch between hot and cold extraction.

Looking for a machine that can handle the hard work of brewing coffee for you? The De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo is now $499.95 at Amazon (was $699.95), making it one of the best bargains in Amazon's Memorial Day sale.
Our reviewer Cesci Angell was head-over-heels about this smart bean-to-cup coffee maker when she tested it in 2024, calling it "delightfully straightforward to use" and naming it the best espresso machine in its price bracket. It comes with four preset brewing modes to use if you're new to espresso or in a hurry, but if you have time to tinker then you can experiment with grind size, brew temperature, dosing, and tamping to get your coffee tasting exactly the way you like.
The La Specialista Arte Evo achieves and maintains the optimum nine bars of pressure during brewing, and has a powerful steam wand that helps you achieve silky microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos. Accessories are included too, including a tamper (and tamping guide) and a high quality milk pitcher with an extra-fine tip if you want to try your hand at latte art.
We also enjoyed experimenting with the machine's cold-brew mode, which bypasses the boiler and uses ambient-temperature water to produce an espresso with a milder flavor than one brewed hot. Just add ice and milk for a perfect iced latte.

Nespresso Vertuo Plus Deluxe by De'Longhi

De'Longhi has partnered with Nespresso to make some excellent capsule coffee machines, and this one is a particularly good example. The Nespresso Vertuo Plus Deluxe by De'Longhi is now $139 at Amazon (was $199), and offers premium features including an extra-large water tank and an adjustable drip tray, which you won't find on standard Vertuo machines.
When we tested the Vertuo Plus, we were very impressed by just how easy it is to brew a perfect drink (we could almost do it blindfolded), and we think it would be a particularly good choice when you have guests, since it's totally self-explanatory. It looks stylish too, with a smart black case and chrome accents that will fit well with a modern kitchen.
This machine uses dome-shaped Nespresso Vertuo capsules, which come in a huge array of blends and flavors, including limited-editions like Sweet Almond and Hibiscus, Yuzu Vanilla Over Ice, and White Chocolate and Strawberry.
You'll have to send used pods off to be recycled, but Nespresso makes this as simple as possible, and you can mail them via UPS, or drop them off at your local Office Depot or Staples store. Find our more about how Nespresso pods are recycled.
