Canada and Qatar face off in this 2026 World Cup Group B clash on Wednesday, with both teams looking to build on creditable draws from their opening fixtures.

Canada had substitute Cyle Larin to thank as his late strike earned the tournament co-host a draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was a match in which Jesse Marsch's men should probably have taken all three points on the balance of play.

Cyle Larin's 78th-minute strike earned Canada a 1-1 draw in its opening Group B match against Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was the Southampton forward's 31st goal for his country.

Boualem Khoukhi, meanwhile, scored a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer as Qatar fought back to draw 1-1 against a wasteful Switzerland to register its first-ever point at a World Cup finals in its tournament opener.

Canada takes on Qatar in this Group B match on Thursday at BC Place in Vancouver, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. PT local time. That makes it a 6 p.m. ET start on the East Coast in the US and Canada, an 11 p.m. BST start in the UK and an 8 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Friday.

Fox will show every US Men's National Team group match, plus every match from the round of 16 onward, including the final. You'll be able to catch 34 additional matches on FS1. Fox and FS1 are available on services like DirecTV, YouTube TV and Fox One. You can also stream matches from apps in other countries for free using a VPN.

How to watch the 2026 World Cup using a VPN for free

If you're traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the World Cup action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. Additionally, it can be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, providing an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies that restrict VPN use for accessing region-specific content. If you're considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform's terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider's installation instructions to ensure you're connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.
