It's Time for Super Bowl 2026. Here's How to Stream the Patriots vs. Seahawks Tonight
Matt Elliott · 2026-02-09 · via CNET

Super Bowl LX is tonight, so here's a rundown of how to catch all the action and Bad Bunny's halftime show.

Headshot of Matt Elliott

Matt Elliott is a senior editor at CNET with a focus on laptops and streaming services. Matt has more than 20 years of experience testing and reviewing laptops. He has worked for CNET in New York and San Francisco and now lives in New Hampshire. When he's not writing about laptops, Matt likes to play and watch sports. He loves to play tennis and hates the number of streaming services he has to subscribe to in order to watch the various sports he wants to watch.

When is the Super Bowl?

  • Super Bowl LX takes place on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT).

Where to watch the Super Bowl?

  • The Super Bowl will air on NBC and stream on Peacock.

It didn't take long for the New England Patriots to get back to the Super Bowl after the end of the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era. The Pats won the last of six titles with Brady and Belichick in 2019, and now, seven years later, they're back in the big game with Drake Maye in only his second year at quarterback and Mike Vrabel in his first year as head coach in New England.

The Seattle Seahawks' last Super Bowl appearance ended in heartbreak against the Patriots in 2015. Instead of handing the ball off to Marshawn Lynch at the one-yard line in the closing seconds, the Seahawks elected to throw the ball and Russell Wilson's pass was intercepted at the goal line to give the Patriots a 28-24 victory.

Now, we can look forward to the rematch today. Super Bowl LX takes place today and will be broadcast nationally on NBC and stream on Peacock. Keep reading to see the best ways to watch Super Bowl LX no matter where you live.

When and where is the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl Sunday is this Sunday. The game will take place at Levi's Stadium (home of the San Francisco 49ers) in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT).

The Super Bowl LX Pregame Show begins on NBC and Peacock at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT).

How to watch Super Bowl 2026 without cable

You don't need a cable or satellite TV subscription to watch the Super Bowl on NBC. You can stream the game live on Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service. Or you can watch the game on NBC with a live TV streaming service. YouTube TV, DirecTV's $70 MySports package, and in some regions, Sling Blue, all carry NBC in their channel lineups. Another option is to use an over-the-air TV antenna to watch your local NBC station.

Watch this: What's the Best Way to Stream Super Bowl LX?

Who's playing in Super Bowl LX?

The AFC champion New England Patriots and the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks are playing in Super Bowl LX. It's a rematch of the 2015 Super Bowl, which saw the Patriots rally from 10 points down in the fourth quarter before winning the game in the final minute when Malcolm Butler intercepted a pass at the goal line.

Who's performing the Super Bowl halftime show?

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny will headline the halftime performance at the 2026 Super Bowl. And that's not the only musical act scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday. Green Day will perform a pregame show starting at 6 p.m. ET. Before the game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET, Charlie Puth will sing the National Anthem, Brandi Carlile will sing America the Beautiful and Coco Jones will sing Lift Every Voice and Sing.

Who's calling the game?

NBC's team of Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will call the game with sideline reporters Melissa Stark and Kaylee Hartung.

How much are Super Bowl tickets?

When you see what it costs to attend the Super Bowl in person, the constant price hikes of streaming services might seem a little less annoying. As of Friday, the cheapest seats cost more than $4,000 per ticket on StubHub. Suddenly, the $11 per month after last year's Peacock price increase seems very reasonable.

How to watch Super Bowl LX in 4K

NBC will broadcast the Super Bowl in 4K, assuming you have the proper setup. To get the game in its best resolution, you'll need a 4K TV and use either Peacock or a 4K plan with a live TV streaming service. (Many traditional cable and satellite companies offer 4K broadcasts, including DirecTV, Dish, Comcast, Optimum and Verizon Fios.)

How to watch the Super Bowl with a VPN

If no convenient opportunities exist to watch the game where you live, then using a VPN with a US-based server should provide access to some or all of the streaming options listed above. With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, non-blackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, are very easy to use.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

What are my Super Bowl viewing options outside the US?

International viewers should check their local listings to determine the best local option to watch or stream the Super Bowl. You could also see if DAZN's NFL Game Pass service is available where you live. It's a low-cost subscription streaming service that's available internationally.

How to watch the Super Bowl in the UK

In the UK, the game will be broadcast free on Channel 5. Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports NFL will also show the game for subscribers.

How to watch the Super Bowl in Germany

In Germany, the game will be shown on DAZN Germany and RTL.

How to watch the Super Bowl in Australia

In Australia, you can watch the game on Channel 7, 7mate, 7plus and ESPN Australia/Pac Rim.

How to watch the Super Bowl in Canada

In Canada, you will be able to watch the broadcast on DAZN Canada as well as CTV or TSN, depending on your location, or the French-language broadcast on RDS.
