YouTube TV is getting in on the subscription bundle game. On Wednesday, the streaming service announced that it's adding 10 genre-specific packages. The plans are expected to be available in early 2026.

One notable bundle is the YouTube TV Sports Plan, which will offer a variety of sports programming from the likes of FS1, NBC Sports Network and the entire ESPN family of networks, along with the recently launched ESPN Unlimited app.

YouTube TV's announcement comes at an interesting time for sports streaming content and the popular trend of skinny bundles, meaning bundled content with fewer options and lower prices than traditional streaming-service groupings. Earlier this year, DirecTV introduced budget-friendly TV plans, which the service calls Genre Packs. Fubo launched its own skinny sports bundle during the summer. Apple TV will remove the paywall on all Major League Soccer events in 2026 and offer Friday Night Baseball games at no additional cost to subscribers.

Currently, YouTube TV, which is owned by Google, costs subscribers $83 per month and includes over 100 channels.

Details on the other bundles weren't released, but the company teased plans that will focus on news, family and entertainment content. The costs and release dates for these bundles have not been announced.
