Three’s Company

“This girl on girl sh-t needs to stop,” wrote the Call Her Daddy host on Instagram, where she also shared alleged DMs between her and LaPaglia

As the ongoing feud between Alex Cooper and Alix Earle continues to play out publicly, fellow social media star Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia was caught in the crossfire.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening, Cooper wrote that “this girl on girl shit needs to stop” and accused LaPaglia of “adding onto the fake narrative and dog pile.” The Call Her Daddy host continued, “Brianna, you coming online saying I’m a mean girl, that I’m going to get destroyed, in peoples comments saying l hate Alex Cooper. Here are the facts. I have never met you in my life. The only communication we have ever had together is through dm.”

Cooper followed up with a series of alleged screenshots of her direct messages with LaPaglia. In the first exchange, LaPaglia appears to reach out to Cooper to address a situation between Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy on an episode of her BFFs podcast, which LaPaglia used to co-host alongside Portnoy and Josh Richards.

“Hi Dave just got on bffs and said you hate me so wanted to dm you before the episode comes out and everyone goes insane Imao but I’m so sorry if when I said I haven’t listened to call her daddy it came off rude, always speak highly of you They cut clips to make me look like a cunt, you’re the blue print,” read LaPaglia’s DM to Cooper.

Cooper denied saying anything of the sort about her fellow podcaster, emphasizing how she told Portnoy “how great” LaPaglia was doing at Barstool and calls out Portnoy for “starting drama” — backing it up with what appear to be screenshots of her texts to Portnoy. After clearing things up, Cooper and LaPaglia continue to send each other cordial messages.

Following the screenshots, Cooper continued to address LaPaglia directly. “I never invited you on Call Her Daddy. Back during the Zach Bryan situation, I sent you a message of support,” Cooper wrote, referencing LaPaglia’s turbulent breakup with The Great American Bar Scene singer Zach Bryan.

Cooper also brought up LaPaglia’s former PlanBri Uncut co-host, Grace O’Malley, who left Barstool Sports and joined Cooper’s media powerhouse Unwell Network in December 2024. Still addressing LaPaglia, Cooper said that she and O’Malley “never spoke negatively of you. Nothing negative happened during that time between Unwell, myself or you.”

Before wrapping, the media mogul added, “So speaking of mean girls … have never met you in my life. What I just showed is the only interaction we’ve ever had. And you hate me? Wow. Please go back and read the dms. That has never been the nature of our relationship.” In a later Stories post, Cooper clarified that she had forgotten she was “in [LaPaglia’s] presence once” in 2021 on the BFFs podcast. Before signing off, Cooper added, “Now back to Alix. And no this is not a pr stunt.”

Editor’s picks

For those who need a recap of how the internet got here in the the first place, here’s an attempted summary of the dizzying series of events: Following Earle’s abrupt exit from Unwell after only two years in February 2025, both Cooper and Earle have danced around what led to their fallout for the past year. Then on April 13, Cooper, 31, directly called out 25-year-old Earle over her “passive-aggressive reposts” online. “Just say what you gotta say about me,” Cooper said in a TikTok. “There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”

Later that day, Earle left a comment on Cooper’s video and replied, “Okay on it!!”

While some online observers have accused Cooper and Earle of stoking the flames of a feud, LaPaglia responded in her own social media video and fired off on critics calling it all a publicity stunt, adding, “Please, guys, get a brain cell.”

“I work at Barstool, so Dave introduced me to Alex Cooper. I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of fuckng Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people. I’m friends with Alix Earle. Alix Earle told me everything that transpired between those two two years ago at the Super Bowl. She told me everything,” LaPaglia claimed in her quick response to Cooper. While LaPaglia didn’t detail what exactly happened, she said, it’s “not my story to tell.”

“From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person,” LaPaglia said.
