So what’s this Kesäkoodi thing about? It is an initiative of COSS that independently (and with patches) implements the Summer of Code concept. The patches mainly involved in making the payment system less of a gamble and shifting the initiative of proposing what to do to coders themselves.
Five coders were chosen and I was one of them. I’ll be hacking on Firefox for three months. The funding comes from IBM, Nokia, Technology Centre Hermia, Ericsson and Novell.
