Sunday last week (April 11), I drove down the coast on Highway 1 from Monterey to Cambria (just past San Simeon). I walked around at Point Lobos for about an hour and a half. Here's a photo of the coast of Monterey county (taken from slightly less than 40 miles from the San Luis Obispo county line, based on a mile marker I noted ten minutes earlier).
I also saw the Seals at Piedras Blancas.
