This is a bug fix release in the stable 2.52 series.

What’s new in WPE WebKit 2.52.2?

• Improve handling of real-time threads.
• Improve focus handling in the WPE Qt binding.
• Allow QML code to invoke WPEQtView::webView() in the WPE Qt binding, which allows using the public C API as well.
• Fix the WPE Qt binding build with Qt 6.9 or newer.
• Fix scrollbar rendering glitches visible in some GPU configurations.
• Fix V4L2 hardware accelerated media codecs now working due to overly restrictive sandbox device access rules.
• Fix the build with ENABLE_BREAKPAD=ON.
• Partially fix the build in BSD and other non-Linux Unix systems.
• Fix several crashes and rendering issues.
