Introducing W3C CSS Working Group Invited Expert Brad Kemper

I am very pleased to announce that Brad Kemper, a Real Live Web Designer, has joined the W3C CSS Working Group as an Invited Expert. He's been an active participant on www-style for awhile now, where he's proposed some significant and key changes to the CSS3 Backgrounds and Borders module (which we have accepted in the latest draft).

What makes Brad an excellent candidate for the CSS Working Group is that not only does he have a web designer's perspective, but he isn't afraid to dive into the technical discussions, and he expresses himself clearly. He seems to have a pretty good grasp of the various issues involved in the design of CSS (as opposed to just design with CSS), and, critically, has been improving over time.

Altogether, I've been very impressed with his work and his abilities so far, and I'm looking forward to collaborating with him going forward.
