This 1998 Porsche Boxster is a Japanese-market example that was repainted in pink under previous ownership and was brought to the US in 2025 before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2025. Powered by a 2.5-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car has black leather and microsuede upholstery, a removable hardtop, 18″ multi-spoke wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a short shifter, and a Carrozzeria CD stereo. Work under current ownership included fluid changes, along with a paint correction and the application of a ceramic coating. This 986 Boxster has 131k kilometers (~81k miles) and is now offered by the seller on behalf of their spouse with a clean US Carfax report and a clean Florida title in the owner’s name.

The car was refinished in its current shade of pink under previous ownership, which the seller notes is Ruby Star. The soft top has been removed and is not included in the sale, and exterior equipment includes a body-color hardtop, headlight overlays, and gray accents on the speed-activated rear spoiler and side air intakes. A paint correction was performed before a ceramic coating was applied to the exterior in October 2021. The 18″ multi-spoke wheels are mounted with a mix of Joyroad and Nankang tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over vented rotors at all four corners. The seats are upholstered in black leather with microsuede centers. The seller tells us that a short shifter has been installed, and additional appointments include a Carrozzeria CD stereo, automatic climate control, Boxster-branded stainless-steel door sill guards, and a body-color-painted center console accent. There is wear on the handbrake grip and shifter.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 260-km/h speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 131k kilometers (~81k miles), approximately 254 kilometers (~158 miles) of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 2.5-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 201 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The coolant is said to have been flushed in April 2025, and the oil was changed in October 2025.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped with aftermarket exhaust headers.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage.
