This Factory Five Racing 818C is a tube-frame kit car that was assembled under previous ownership and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter Subaru flat-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Having previously sold on BaT in June 2023 and May 2024, the car was acquired by the seller in 2025. Modifications under previous ownership included installing a Cobb Tuning access port, a Boosted Performance E-Tune, a Hill Country TD04-19T turbo, an AEM E85 340 fuel pump, and a Grimmspeed electronic boost controller in addition to Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, Hawk HP+ pads, and slotted rotors. Additional details include Matte orange paint, black leather upholstery, an air-to-air intercooler, a TurboXS blow-off valve, a 2.5″ exhaust system, a Toyota MR2-sourced short-cable shift system, carbon-fiber aerodynamic components, remote-control electric door openers, Factory Five Racing wheels, Koni coilovers, a Vintage Air climate control system, a front curb sensor, a reversing camera, a Blaupunkt amplifier, a Rockville Audio subwoofer, and a Pioneer digital head unit with Apple Car Play and Bluetooth connectivity. This 818C is now offered with a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name listing it as a 2020 FFRI 818.

The fiberglass body is finished in matte orange with black accents and features a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, rear lip spoiler, and side rocker panels. Additional exterior details include side intake vents, hood vents, carbon fiber mirrors, HID headlights, a Zero Decibel Motorsports hood hinge, and electric door openers with remote control capability and an emergency manual release. Scratches are noted on the driver-side window, and paint chips are present along the base of the rear spoiler. The ends of the rear spoiler have been touched up. The seller notes water leaks at the windows and faults with the door openers.

Factory Five Racing 17″ and 18″ wheels are mounted with Federal Super Steel 595 tires measuring 215/40 up front and 255/35 out back. The car is equipped with Koni adjustable coilovers. Work under previous ownership included fitting a Baer bump steer kit, Wilwood six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers, Hawk HP+ pads, and slotted rotors.

The heated bucket seats are trimmed in black leather with perforated inserts and orange stitching accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Carbon fiber trim accents the cabin and additional appointments include a Vintage Air climate control system, power windows, a leather shift knob, a black headliner, sound-deadening material, a front curb sensor, a reversing camera, a Blaupunkt amplifier, a Rockville Audio subwoofer, and a Pioneer digital head unit with Apple Carplay and Bluetooth connectivity. There is a scratch on the passenger door panel.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a Subaru Impreza-sourced instrument cluster housing a central 140-mph speedometer flanked by a tachometer and a combination gauge with readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. The instrument lighting is said to have been replaced with LED lights. The digital odometer was reportedly reset for the build and shows 1,400 miles, approximately 400 of which have been added under current ownership. The seller notes that the odometer display is faulty.

The mid-mounted turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four and five-speed manual transaxle were reportedly sourced from a totaled 2002 Subaru WRX that was previously involved in a rear-end collision, according to Carfax. The timing belt, water pump, head gasket, turbocharger, a TurboXS blow-off valve, and an air-to-air intercooler are said to have been replaced at the time of the build. A Cobb Tuning access port, Boosted Performance E-Tune, Hill Country TD04-19T turbo, AEM E85 340 fuel pump, and a Grimmspeed electronic boost controller have been added. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with electric fans.

Additional equipment is said to include an Exedy clutch, a Toyota MR2-sourced custom-cable shift system, and a Boig Motorsports 2.5″ turbo back exhaust.

The car is titled in Tennessee as a 2020 FFRI 818 using the assigned VIN 0V220002250386NE shown above.
