This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL is powered by a 5.5-liter M117 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, and work carried out in May 2026 at a cost of over $4k included replacing the tires that wrap the 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels along with changing various rear braking components. The car is finished in Anthracite Gray over gray leather, and it is equipped with a sunroof, headlight wipers, a self-leveling hydraulic rear suspension, heated front and rear seats, rear footrests, a Kenwood stereo and amplifier, and automatic climate control. Now showing 64k miles, this W126 560SEL is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner, a licensed retail dealer, with the removed stereo, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title.

The car is finished in Anthracite Gray (172), and exterior features include a power-operated steel sunroof, headlight wipers, a power-telescoping antenna, and bright window and bumper trim. The right-side power-adjustable side mirror does not work.

The 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with Falken tires that were installed in May 2026, at which time the brake fluid was replaced along with the rear brake rotors, pads, and sensors. The car was equipped from the factory with a self-leveling hydraulic rear suspension.

The heated power-adjustable front seats have position memory settings and are trimmed in gray leather, which extends to the heated rear seats. Woodgrain trim adorns the cabin, and the sound system features a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood KDC-X303 CD stereo, a trunk-mounted Kenwood eXcelon amplifier, and a trunk-mounted CD changer. Further interior appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, rear footrests, and power windows. The B-pillar trim was reupholstered in May 2026. The removed stereo is included in the sale.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and instant fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 64k miles.

The 5.5-liter M117 V8 was factory equipped with Bosch KE-Jetronic fuel injection and was rated at 238 horsepower and 287 lb-ft of torque. The distributor cap and rotor were replaced in January 2021 along with the engine mounts. An oil change was carried out in May 2026. There is seepage around the timing chain tensioner lower mounting bolt, a May 2026 service record notes the upper oil pan gasket is wet, and the valve cover gaskets are leaking.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The former of which had its mount replaced in January 2021, while its filter and fluid were replaced in May 2026. Sections of the exhaust system have been replaced. The seller reports that the transmission pan was resealed in preparation for the sale.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
