This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe is powered by a 402ci V8 that is equipped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system and a Holley HyperSpark ignition system and is linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. The body was refinished in metallic blue with black stripes in 2009, according to the seller, and the interior features black vinyl upholstery on the front bucket seats and rear bench. A Vintage Air climate control system is installed along with a RetroSound stereo unit and Dakota Digital gauges, and additional equipment includes a dual exhaust system, dual electric radiator fans, power steering, power front disc brakes, and 14″ Sport wheels. This Chevelle sport coupe was purchased by the current owner in 2021 and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner in New Jersey with service records, a Protect-O-Plate, service manuals, and a transferrable New York registration document.

The car was repainted in metallic blue with black stripes in 2009, according to the seller, and features a black grille, a driver-side mirror, SS badging, hideaway windshield wipers, chrome bumpers, and RGB halo headlights. The 14″ Sport wheels are wrapped in 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Gabriel HiJacker air shocks were installed at the rear, and the car is also equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums.

The cabin houses front and rear bench seats trimmed in black vinyl along with a coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. A Vintage Air climate control system is installed along with a RetroSound digital stereo unit linked to a JL Audio amplifier in the trunk.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital HDX instrument panel that was installed in 2023 and consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, dual digital displays, and readouts for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership. The removed speedometer and odometer are pictured in the gallery below, and the odometer showed 18,219 miles at the time of removal. The owner has also provided a notarized affidavit that affirmed the car’s mileage as 12,752 on March 18, 2008, and additional documentation recording the mileage over time accompanies the car.
