If the high weirdness and loopy humor of Adventure Time is what sticks with you, Drew Magary’s The Hike is a great choice. Ben arrives at his hotel for a meeting and decides to take a walk. Almost immediately, he finds himself lost in a surreal predicament, pursued by killers and monsters and accompanied by a talking blue crab named, well, Crab. As Ben’s experiences get increasingly strange (and threatening), he learns he must find a powerful entity called The Producer if he wants to escape alive.
