  • Power Dollars returns just as gas Charger deliveries ramp up.
  • Discounts reach $5,500 on the 550-horsepower Scat Pack.
  • The promotion runs from July 9 through August 3, 2026.

Dodge is reviving one of its best-known marketing promotions just as deliveries begin to ramp up. The automaker has announced the return of Power Dollars, giving retail buyers a $10 cash allowance for every horsepower under the hood of eligible 2026 Charger models. For Scat Pack buyers, that translates into a hefty $5,500 discount, and Dodge says it brings the car’s price below $49,500 before destination, taxes, and fees.

The promotion is available from July 9 through August 3, 2026, and applies exclusively to retail purchases of gasoline-powered 2026 Charger R/T, R/T Plus, Scat Pack, and Scat Pack Plus models equipped with the twin-turbocharged Hurricane Sixpack engine. Importantly, lease customers aren’t eligible.

That said, the discounts are pretty simple to sort out for buyers. Those who go for the Charger R/T or Charger R/T Plus get $4,200 in Power Dollars since those cars make 420 horsepower (313 kW). The Scat Pack and Scat Pack Plus both make 550 horsepower (410 kW) so buyers get $5,500 in Power Dollars.

Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said the incentive is designed to make the brand’s performance offerings more attainable, noting that the Charger Scat Pack remains the industry’s most powerful car available for under $55,000, with the Power Dollars incentive pushing its effective price below the $49,500 mark.

The incentive also highlights Dodge’s renewed emphasis on its Hurricane-powered lineup following the arrival of the six-cylinder Charger. The 2026 Charger is offered as both a two-door coupe and four-door sedan, with standard all-wheel drive and a driver-selectable rear-wheel-drive mode.

Notably, both the four-door and two-door have the same roof and interior space. That means that full-grown adults can comfortably sit in the rear, even in the two-door. Ingress and egress isn’t hard either, thanks to a well-designed folding mechanism for the front seats. Both versions also feature a hatchback-style rear end. Less than a week ago, I fit an XXL mountain bike in the back of one. This is a sneaky practical muscle car, and now, it’s even more affordable.
