The Coslus C20 is a water flosser - or oral irrigator - that mimics traditional flossing. However, instead of using a piece of string, it shoots a powerful jet of water into the nooks and crannies of your teeth, blasting out all the junk that has built up. The C20 has three pressure settings. Generally you wan't it on low or medium for regular use, but there is a high mode to blast out stubborn food particles. A couple of different nozzle tips are included to target specific areas of your gums.

There are two types of water flossers - a corded design with separate water tank, and a fully integrated cordless design. The C20 is the latter. There are some advantages to this compared to a traditional countertop flosser but most notably, it's smaller and thus takes up way less countertop space and it's much more portable for travel. A 300ml water tank is contained within the flosser itself and provides plenty of water per use. In terms of battery life, the C20 advertises up to 30 days of normal daily flossing, and the battery can be recharged with the included USB Type-A cable.

Earlier in June, according to Yahoo Finance, the Coslus C20 appeared to have received the ADA Seal of Acceptance, which is a nice bonus for a $7 water flosser. Honestly, though, if the price of the Philips Sonicare Power Flosser has been keeping you from getting your teeth even cleaner than ever before, then the C20 gives you no more excuse to do so.

I bought one myself and like it, despite owning the Waterpik Aquarius

I took advantage of this deal and bought one myself. I already own a $100 Waterpik Aquarius, which is oft considered to be one of the best consumer water flossers you can get, especially for the price. The Coslus C20 is not as strong as the Waterpik at its highest setting. It's probably closer to the level 7 or 8 out of the 10 adjustment levels on the Waterpik. More importantly, though, the strength appears to be good enough for daily flossing. You also cannot tilt the Coslus C20 upside down (which you can with the Waterpik) and the handheld component is bulkier. However, it's way more space efficient and it's nice having a free power outlet again. In my book, it's worth the $7.
