Building AI Security Together: New Ways to Partner with W...
Oron Noah · 2026-02-02 · via Wiz Blog | RSS feed

We launched the Wiz Integration Network two and a half years ago with a simple but ambitious goal: to collaborate with the industry to better serve our mutual customers and support their real-world security use cases.

From day one, our partners have spanned a wide range of categories: vulnerability and data scanners, development tools and CI/CD pipelines, data lakes and GRC platforms, identity and access management, and more. The common thread has always been clear: customers don’t want isolated tools; they want security that works together. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new AI Security category in WIN, along with the AI capabilities available to partners through our WIN MCP and Winnie assistant, and our upcoming AI Security hackathon.

As AI Accelerates, Security Is Built Together

2025 was an incredible year for partnerships. We saw more companies across the industry collaborating more deeply than ever, helping customers move faster while staying secure in increasingly complex environments.

At the same time, AI adoption is accelerating development at an unprecedented pace. Wiz Research shows that 56% of organizations use MCP servers and 88% use self-hosted AI models. Attackers are using those very same capabilities to scale, automate, and evolve their attacks. In this new reality, defenders can’t afford to work in silos.

To help our customers navigate this evolving AI landscape, we're investing in deep collaborations with companies that are securing AI and those using AI to drive better security outcomes. In 2026, the Wiz Integration Network will deepen its focus on AI-driven partnerships, with new categories, tighter integrations, and GTM programs designed to help customers move faster and smarter. We're building the connective tissue that turns AI innovation into real security results.

AI isn’t just a tool for us - it’s embedded in how we operate. AI can only thrive in a secure environment. The reason we can move fast is because we’ve built the right foundations in our security operating model.

Simon Ellis, Head of Cyber Security and Technology Risk at Lendi Group.

How to Use AI to Scale the WIN Ecosystem

To help these partners onboard and quickly support joint customers, we’re investing in AI-powered infrastructure, tooling, and developer experiences that make it easier to build, integrate, and scale within the WIN ecosystem. That investment starts with two new releases that improve the developer experience behind every WIN integration.

The first is our WIN MCP, a standardized integration framework designed to help partners build faster and with confidence. The WIN MCP gives developers direct, in-IDE access to the latest Wiz API references, making it easier to build, validate, and scale integrations that align with WIN certification guidelines and Wiz’s standards for security, reliability, and performance. For example, developers can use the WIN MCP to quickly create a Wiz plugin that surfaces real-time cloud security insights directly in their IDE, and then easily extend it with custom features or workflows, all while staying aligned with Wiz standards.

To further accelerate builders, we also launched Winnie, our WIN Community Wizard Agent.  Winnie helps developers quickly find answers, navigate documentation, and move faster as they build and iterate on WIN integrations. Now live in our WIN developer Slack community, Winnie runs on a custom WIN prompt fully integrated with our Developer Docs. Just tag Winnie or send her a DM, and get your questions answered.

Together, WIN MCP and Winnie reduce friction for builders, scale collaboration across the ecosystem, and help partners deliver secure, high-quality integrations customers can trust.

Opening the AI Security Category in WIN

To support deeper collaboration across the ecosystem, we're launching a new AI Security category within the Wiz Integration Network. As we saw in the WIN Index, integrations that address modern challenges with modern solutions see strong customer adoption, proving that the right tools in the right hands can drive real impact. By building together across AI Security Posture Management, runtime guardrails, agentic AI security, adversarial testing, governance, and compliance, partners not only help customers securely adopt and scale AI but also unlock joint growth opportunities and greater visibility in the ecosystem.

To kick off this category, we’re hosting the WIN AI Security Hackathon, a hands-on way for builders to create and showcase new AI security integrations as part of WIN. Build your integration by February 27, 2026, and qualifying projects will secure a spot to be showcased with Wiz at upcoming events.

To get started, apply to WIN and let’s work together to secure the future of AI.
