MapDex is a social map for travelers.

Users can track places they've visited, save destinations to their bucket list, and explore maps from friends and other travelers.

One thing I felt was missing from existing products was meaningful ranking. Instead of relying on a traditional 5-star system where ratings tend to become inflated, MapDex lets users rank destinations against others within the same category. Cities are ranked against cities, beaches against beaches, countries against countries, and so on.

The goal is to create a more useful way to discover places through people you trust while building a visual record of where you've been and where you want to go next.

The app is currently live on iOS and Android. I'd love feedback on the product, ranking system, positioning, and growth strategy.
