Author here. Anthropic shipped Artifacts in Claude Code this week — agent-built HTML pages you share with your team. Surface is a small, open take on a similar idea, but two-way: the agent stands up the page, watches it, and reacts to what you do on it (click, type, submit) without you copy-pasting back to the chat.
