I bought a Neo and like it a lot. But the cursor is lagging under certain circumstances. Other people seem to have the same problem.

The best workaround I found without doing RE or SIP stuff is Screen Recording. Then the lag disappears. I don't know the root cause, but usually at the moment of the lag WindowServer changes cursor rendering from "hardware cursor" to "software cursor". So perhaps the handover has a hickup or something. But with Screen Recording, "hardware cursor" isn't used, and there is no lag.

It is enough to keep recording 1 pixel at a low framerate. Downside: There is an indicator for screen recording. I auto-disable the fix in fullscreen mode to watch videos, otherwise it doesn't bother me. (well, a little.)

A simpler workaround is to enable a Color Filter (lowest setting works), but it slightly changes the colors and doesn't fix the issue if Night Mode is on.

(This all reminds me of an old iPhone 4 performance optimization challenge where one solution was to place an invisible spinner in the background, to speed up an animation, because of backboardd priority or sth.)

Anyway, hope this helps somebody, and if someone from Apple is reading this, pls fix (if possible).
